Teaching
Obviously, in our program, Go teaching is definitely the main part that we organizers and teachers focusing on. We will do our best to create a good environment and good circumstances for studying, so that you will have as many chances as possible to experience Go in China. All teaching will be in English.
Organizers profile
The organizers of "Experience Go in China" are two Chinese go players: Liu Yuanbo 2p (Peteliu 2p, tartaric 9d, MilanMilan 9d on KGS) and Su Yang 5d (JeffChang 9d on KGS). In the western go community and on KGS we are known as Peter and Jeff.
Both organizers are students or graduates of Beijing University, one of the best universities in China, and have each been president of the Beijing University Go Association.
Teachers
As for your Go improvement, a good teacher is undoubtedly a significant factor. Our program is proud to have many experienced teachers, who speak fluent English and enthusiastic to help you to be stronger. All of them are Chinese professional players and high dan amateur players, who had taught in our program, or in some other Go schools in Beijing for years. Besides, from this year, we invite Fang Tianfeng 8 dan professional as our Chief Instructor, and surely Fang 8p will give lectures and play games with all the participants regularly, during the period of our program.
