Our teaching content mainly consists of:

Fuseki

Here we will mainly introduce fuseki commonly used by professionals and high dan amateurs in recent games. Since these are not yet listed in books it might be inconvenient for you to study them on your own, so we think it’s important that we include them in our teaching. We will also emphasize introducing some of the variations following the joseki that appear.

Middle game

The middle game fighting often determines the result of the game. We will introduce some useful skills, and teach you how to control the direction of play during this part of the game.

Yose

We will introduce the most important yose skills, and what you need to know about counting.

Go principles

Basic go principles will be explained, and we will show examples of when they are followed and not followed in games.

Strategy

Strategy is rather abstract field of study that is necessary for you to reach a high level. These lectures are meant to help you to gradually understand how to be aware of the situation and turn it to your advantage.

Attack and defense

These lectures will cover attack and defense during all parts of the game.

Training games

As many games as possible will be reviewed.

Games from events and activities

Some games will be selected by the teachers to point out and correct common mistakes among the participants.
